“Our 37-year-old dream of a state-of-the-art Living Learning Commons for our students is finally a reality! It's incredible to have students back on campus from all over the state, and there’s nothing like seeing their reactions to this beautiful new building they now call home. This space is a labor of love by countless friends and employees of LSMSA, and we are grateful to everyone who's supported us in this journey."

A Living/Learning Community

All students live in our state-of-the-art residence hall, the Living Learning Commons, under the supervision of a professionally trained, full-time student services staff while engaging in and exploring extracurricular activities.

The Student Life Advisors engage with students in a wide range of cultural, educational, leadership, recreational, social and wellness activities - encouraging students to make positive choices, build lasting friendships and search for a sense of balance between academic and personal growth. Our residential life staff also plans educational and social activities for students to relax and recharge from the rigors of academic life.

The new 110,000 sq ft residence hall features modern living arrangements with one shared bathroom for every four residents.
In double occupancy rooms, housing is available for 360 male and female students within 10 independent hall "neighborhoods." The building will have 4 stories and 3 towers.
The hall features a student lounge, covered porch, craft room, study rooms, a grand lobby, and on-site card-operated laundry facilities.

On-site health clinic with a full-time registered nurse and assistant.

Accessible wifi and internet service.

Rooms are furnished with two new beds, desks, closets, and chairs.

24-hour front desk security and card reader access to the building and towers.

Demonstration kitchen with small dining area.

Outdoor firepit with seating and soon-to-come commemorative bricks whose purchases support the school.

"Living on campus gives you a sense of community that you can't find anywhere else. You have to see each other every day, so it's pretty easy to make lifelong friendships here. There's even a sense of community with the teachers; they are really understanding and have a close friendship with the students."
