Representatives of LSMSA will visit with parents and students at The Hangar, located on the second floor of the Student Union Building at the University of Louisiana Monroe, on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. The LSMSA Info Session will be held in Ballroom B. Winter Break '24-'25
LSMSA dismisses for Winter Break on Dec. 17, 2024. Students return to campus on Jan. 5. The LLC reopens at 3 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2025. -
Special Projects Week 2025
Students will share their Special Projects Week assignments, Jan. 6-10, 2025. -
Required Weekend
A long-standing part of the academic requirements of LSMSA, required weekends bring students together on 3-4 weekends a year for additional academic experiences or school-sponsored events aimed at enhancing the living/learning environment.

Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
