Move-In Days
Students return to campus, Aug- 16 & 17, 2024. Faculty, staff, and ambassadors from the LSMSA Alumni Association are available to welcome new and returning students and to assist with the heavy lifting. -
New and Returning Student Orientation
All students are required to attend various Orientation activities. -
First Day of Fall Semester
Students begin work for the Fall '25 semester. Let's go, Eagles! -
Welcome Weekend
Welcome Weekend is designed to help incoming LSMSA students get acclimated and meet faculty, staff, and other students. Attendance is a graduation requirement for all students. -
Extended Weekend
Students will return home for an extended weekend, 8/30/24-9/2/24. LLC opens at 3 p.m. -
Last Day to Drop a Class Without a "W"
The final day to drop a class without a "W" for the Fall 2024 semester is Sept. 18, 2024.

Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
