Student Activity Fees do not qualify for a waiver but are eligible for support from the LSMSA Foundation's Student Enrichment Fund.

How to Apply

Students applying for financial support must have a parent or guardian submit their request via the below form. Requests are reviewed by a committee and determinations are made on a rolling basis.

Last minute requests are strongly discouraged, and at least two weeks’ notice is encouraged when making the request.

Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
