Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts to Host Info Sessions in Baton Rouge and Lafayette on April 27-28



Representatives from Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) will visit Baton Rouge on Saturday, Apr. 27 and Lafayette on Sunday, Apr. 28 to present free, informational sessions for prospective students and their families. Both sessions will begin at 2 p.m. and are expected to last approximately one hour. LSMSA is a tuition-free, residential public high school for high-achieving Louisiana sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Founded in 1983, LSMSA was established by the Louisiana state legislature and is housed on the campus of Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches. Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as their parents or guardians, are invited to attend one of the sessions. Advance registration is requested, and participants may register at www.lsmsa.edu/visit.   
 
Saturday’s session in Baton Rouge will be held at East Baton Rouge Parish Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd., in Independence Park. Sunday’s session in Lafayette will be held at the UL Lafayette Student Union Building, 620 McKinley St., on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
