    Traditions Weekend (Required)

    Tradition is incredibly important at the Louisiana School and to our community. Even though we’ve had to adjust some schedules lately, we are determined to give current students all the traditions that make LSMSA so special. 

    LSMSA's Ring Ceremony and Matriculation Ceremony are rescheduled for our all new Traditions Weekend, Sept. 24-25. (This was originally on our academic calendar as Connections Weekend, so while it’s still a required weekend for students, the content and name will change.)

    Students, faculty, and staff will attend the events of Traditions Weekend in person, but to keep our Eagle community safe and healthy, we have made the hard decision to hold these events as livestream-only for parents and other visitors.

  • Ring Ceremony

    LSMSA’s first Ring Ceremony was held on May 19, 1984 for seniors, and the tradition stems from that morning 35 years ago.

    To keep our LSMSA community safe, this year’s Ring Ceremony will be held in Treen Auditorium, and will be in-person for students, faculty and staff, and via livestream for parents and other visitors.
