Dr. Vickie S. Gentry - Interim Chair

Dr. Vickie Gentry has had a long career in higher education instruction and administration having first accepted a university teaching position in 1980. She is currently the Interim Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Northwestern State University and the former Dean of the Gallaspy College of Education, Dean of Graduate Studies, and Chief Academic Officer. She received a PhD in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. Dr. Gentry was appointed to the board in February 2020.
