  • Career Counseling

The College Counseling Center helps students explore their interests, values, strengths, and experiences. Through seminars and one-on-one support, students learn more about themselves and how their goals connect to possible careers and lifestyles.

Counselors work closely with students to:
    • Build self-awareness
    • Identify strengths and areas for growth
    • Take practical steps toward career planning
The goal is to help students find career paths that are both meaningful and personally rewarding.

One of the most helpful tools in choosing a career and college is understanding your personality. While interests, skills, and values can change over time, your natural strengths tend to stay consistent. By focusing on these strengths—and recognizing possible blind spots—students can make more informed decisions about their future.

The Counseling Center uses Naviance Self-Discovery, a personality assessment that helps students:
    • Learn more about themselves
    • Explore career options
    • Plan for life after high school
This assessment is an important first step in the career development process.
  • College Counseling

The College Counseling Center offers a comprehensive program to guide students through the college planning process.

    Services include:
    • College Planning Seminar classes
    • Information on colleges and scholarships
    • College fairs and campus visits
    • Financial aid guidance
    • Individual meetings with counselors

Counselors begin working individually with students in the spring of junior year to:
    • Explore college options
    • Discuss admissions requirements
    • Identify scholarship opportunities

During senior year, counselors provide additional support by:
    • Writing letters of recommendation
    • Completing school reports and evaluations
    • Assisting with final college decisions
Students are encouraged to stay in close contact with their counselor to ensure all applications, transcripts, and required documents are submitted on time.
