from the desk of LSMSA Executive Director Steve Horton
Fall is in full swing and we are feeling a blessed sense of normalcy here on campus. It's wild to think that 39 years ago today, the Louisiana School held its Grand Opening.
So much has changed since then, but so much remains the same: students are getting to know each other, faculty, and staff while exploring academic, athletic, and extracurricular interests. Our Enrollment Services office is working hard to recruit new Eagles, so if you know of a high-achieving, highly motivated rising sophomore, junior, or senior who’s looking for an academic challenge, please refer them.
We have a full October ahead and look forward to continuing to share the great things happening at LSMSA with you!
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
