Several students at LSMSA participated in a poetry slam on Sunday, Jan. 28, in the lobby of Prudhomme Hall. The event was organized by Cynthia Russell, a junior from Pitkin, and sponsored by Prem Gongaju, student life advisor in Prudhomme. The purpose of the event was for students to express their ideas to the community through writing their own poetry or reading poems.
