Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts—a tuition-free, public, residential high school for high-achieving Louisiana sophomores, juniors, and seniors—will host its annual Senior Recognition Ceremony, as well as the school’s 41st Commencement Exercises, on Saturday, May 17. Both events will take place at Prather Coliseum, 220 S. Jefferson St., on the campus of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Senior Recognition Ceremony, a traditional LSMSA rite of passage that gives graduating seniors the opportunity to announce where they will be attending college, will begin at 9 a.m. LSMSA’s 41st Commencement Exercises will begin at 2 p.m. Both events are open to the public and free to attend, with ample parking and seating for guests at Prather Coliseum.
