Founded in 1983, LSMSA was established by the Louisiana state legislature and is housed on the campus of Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches. Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as their parents or guardians, are invited to attend one of the sessions. Advance registration is requested, and participants may register at www.lsmsa.edu/visit.
Saturday’s session in Baton Rouge will be held at East Baton Rouge Parish Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd., in Independence Park. Sunday’s session in Lafayette will be held at the UL Lafayette Student Union Building, 620 McKinley St., on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
