Jackie New Fletcher

Jackie New Fletcher, PMP (‘08) grew up in Berwick, LA with three siblings, all of whom graduated from LSMSA.

She has a bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering and will graduate in 2023 with a Master’s of Legal Studies in Energy Law, both from Texas A&M. Currently, she is a senior engineer at Oxy in Houston, TX and has experience with engineering, project management, process improvement, and supply chain management/procurement.

Jackie is passionate about STEAM education and volunteers with FIRST Robotics as a judge advisor and coach at different levels of competition. She is also on the Houston chapter board of the American Association of Drilling Engineers.

Prior to joining the LSMSA Foundation board, Jackie has spoken at Connections Weekend and volunteered with the Foundation’s Development Committee. She is looking forward to serving the school as a trustee and helping further prepare students for college life and beyond.
