Dr. William B. Luster ('01)

Natchitoches native and LSMSA alumnus Dr. William "Bill" Luster MD FAAFP ('01) is a Family Practice Physician in Natchitoches.  After LSMSA he graduated from Washington and Lee University, LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, and residency at East Jefferson General Hospital with Tulane.  He completed additional studies at the University of St Andrews (UK) and NYU Stern School of Business.  Beyond his medical profession and support for LSMSA, Bill enjoys duck hunting, LSU tailgates, golf, flying an antique Cessna, and riding with the Krewe of Endymion in New Orleans.  He is a past President of the Natchitoches Jaycees, President of the W&L Northern Louisiana Alumni Chapter, and organizes the "Make a Smile Happen" Christmas Toy Drive, serving roughly 400 Natchitoches Parish children annually.  He has a labrador retriever, Clementine, who refuses to hunt.  Bill was appointed to the school's Board of Directors in 2021.
