Seema Patel is a member of the Class of 1996. After leaving LSMSA, she completed her B.A. in Human Services at The George Washington University and her M.P.H. at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Her career in the non-profit sector includes positions at AmeriCorps, Baylor College of Medicine - Children’s Nutrition Research Center, Harris County Department of Education - Head Start, and Texas Children’s Hospital. Seema's current role is at Texas Children’s Hospital in the Office of Philanthropy, where she focuses on philanthropy outreach to internal constituents and manages a cultivation and stewardship service for hospital donors.
In addition, she enjoys cycling and is the co-captain of her hospital’s 200+ member BP MS 150 team, which has raised over $2.1M for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Seema also volunteers with local organizations focused on early childhood education, health advocacy, and animal rescue.
