Hurricane Delta Update

Based on information provided to us by the National Weather Service regarding the impact of Hurricane Delta on Louisiana, all classes at LSMSA will be suspended as of 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 18.

Wednesday, October 14-Friday, October 16, was previously scheduled for Fall Break. On-line classes will resume Monday, Oct. 19.

Students are expected to continue to work on and/or submit previously assigned projects until 4:30 p.m., Thursday. They will not be required to turn in anything until classes resume on Monday, Oct. 19. Instructors will communicate directly with their students regarding any changes to their scheduled deadlines.

The campus will be closed on Friday, Oct. 9. Unless Dr. Horton notifies otherwise, campus offices will reopen on Monday, Oct. 12 at 8 a.m.
