At LSMSA, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Students have countless opportunities to explore their interests, develop leadership skills and build connections through a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics, clubs, organizations and cherished campus traditions.
LSMSA students can participate in competitive athletics, join student-led clubs and organizations, and take part in activities that encourage creativity, collaboration and personal growth. From academic and service-focused groups to special events and longstanding traditions, these experiences help students discover new passions, strengthen the campus community and create lasting memories with their fellow Eagles.

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
