Savoie creates masks for community and health officials

Creates non-profit in support of the endeavor
Christine Savoie ('14) was featured on CBS This Morning for her initiative in making masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has also created a non-profit in support of the mask-making endeavor which can be found on Facebook at Sewing with Savoie.

"I'm glad that I'm doing my part.... I can help others with it," said Savoie during the feature. "Especially since the CDC recommended that everyone who goes out in public wears a face mask - that leaves it to people like me, who hand-sew masks, to produce these masks for everyone else."
