Exploration Days
Exploration Days are the best opportunity to experience LSMSA first-hand. Prospective students sit in on classes while parents hear from school administrators, and everyone comes together for a campus tour, conversations with current students, and lunch in the dining hall.
Events run from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and LSMSA will provide a letter for students to take to their schools confirming their attendance.
We encourage students in eighth grade or higher to attend. Younger siblings are welcome to join but should accompany parents to all adult activities.

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
