Carolyn Wilkinson is a dedicated and accomplished educational leader with over 21 years of experience in Louisiana public schools. She has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and, most recently, as Supervisor of Middle School Instruction in Livingston Parish. In May 2025, she joined the Louisiana Department of Education as Chief of Staff in the Division of Diverse Learners and also serves as the state's Gifted and Talented Coordinator. A Louisiana Principal of the Year Semifinalist, Carolyn is known for her strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to academic excellence. Her work in building positive school cultures, leading data-driven instruction, and developing strong professional learning communities has left a lasting impact on the numerous students that she has served.

As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
