Representative Charles A. Owen

State Representative Charles Owen is a native of Vernon Parish. Upon graduation from Leesville High School, he attended and graduated from Louisiana Tech (BS and MBA). After college, he served as an Air Force officer for 20 years, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and deploying to four different wartime engagements. After retirement, he returned to his beloved Louisiana. He serves the citizens of Vernon and Beauregard Parish as representative from District 30. Representative Owen serves on the Education, Judiciary, Transportation and Military/Veterans’ Affairs Committees.
