Refraction, a 45-minute long original work in the style of contemporary dance, will be performed by the LSMSA dance ensemble. Refraction is an experiment of altering the pathways of light by using the human form and fabric. This new work by Audra Allen, dance instructor, focuses on the movement relationships of her dancers and their exploration of her choreography. The entire performance is choreographed and performed to music by Marcelo Zarvos. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Tickets are $7 and will be paid for at the door after reservation is made online. Students from Northwestern State University and LSMSA with current ID may attend for free.
