Phone-a-thon math: 16 students + 6 phones + 2 evenings + pizza for all = $13,400 raised to support LSMSA
Last month, 16 dedicated work service students from the Foundation and LSMSA Ambassadors made calls for our annual fall phone-a-thon on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and Wednesday Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
We started the evening with pizza and fellowship as we prepared for the evening’s work. This year we were able to offer a free luggage tag for any gift of $50 or more. Last week our students sent out more than 45 luggage tags and thank you letters to our generous donors.
The students were excited to speak to our supporters and were able to update contact information, hear wonderful stories from our alumni and share their own stories and experiences of LSMSA.
Our goal was to raise $13,500 to help our Eagles soar and as of today we have raised $13,400!
If you missed the Phone-a-thon and want to help our students reach their goal – there is still time. Just follow this link and make a donation – your donation may be the one to get us over our goal!
