LSMSA’s 40th anniversary celebration set for Sept. 29-30

Events are open to public, RSVP deadline is Sept. 20
Registration deadline for the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA)’s 40th anniversary celebration is Wednesday, Sept. 20.

No tickets will be sold at the door for the Sept. 29 cocktails and dinner evening event at The Venue on Front St., so registrations must be made by Sept. 20. On Saturday, Sept. 30, the school will conclude the celebratory weekend with a tailgate-style community picnic and activities on LSMSA's campus that is open to all.

“This will be a great time to celebrate the school’s past achievements and anticipate the next forty years,” says LSMSA Executive Director Dr. Steve Horton. “We look forward to hosting as many of our LSMSA family and friends and members of the Natchitoches community as possible.”

LSMSA, ranked one of the World’s Best Boarding Schools by Fortune magazine, is a tuition-free, public high school for high-achieving rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a nominal room and board fee to cover housing, meals, and campus activities. The LSMSA Foundation offers assistance for families in need to ensure no eligible student is denied the school’s 40-year legacy of a premium college-level living/learning experience.
