LSMSA invites community to 40th anniversary celebration

Please join us Sept. 29-30 for an alumni panel, cocktails and dinner, and a community picnic


LSMSA will celebrate its 40th anniversary throughout the weekend of Sept. 29-30. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, former students and employees, parents, and the community are invited to attend the celebration, visit Natchitoches, and enjoy the Natchitoches Classic Car Show.
 
On Friday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m., the school will host a program located in Treen Auditorium in LSMSA’s High School Building, 715 University Parkway, with keynote speaker retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Lenny Richoux (’85). “A Panel for the Decades” will be moderated by retired Director of Admissions Dr. Sharon Sturdivant Williams and will feature the following alumni, faculty, staff, and parents: Dewey Scandurro (’86); Jason Neville (’97); Dr. Bill Luster (’01); Alex Robertson (’14); Haley Flynn (’22); retired faculty/staff Faculty Emeritus Dr. Clayton Delery, Dr. Bill Ebarb, and Dr. Linc Hall; and parents Christie Weeks and Melissa Benson. At 5 p.m. that evening, the LSMSA Foundation will host ticketed cocktails and dinner* at The Venue on Front Street, with the opportunity to enjoy fireworks on the riverbank after the event. On Saturday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m., the LSMSA Parents' Council will host a community picnic on campus. School tours will be held Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. and Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. To participate, meet at the front door of the High School Building.
