LSMSA dance and music students invite community to May performances

Events are free and open to the public
Students in the LSMSA arts department invite the community, family, and friends to attend the following music and dance performances led by Associate Instructor of Dance Crystal Lewis, MFA and Senior Lecturer of Voice and Chorale Lisa Benner, MM.
    
The Spring Dance Concert will be held in LSMSA’s Treen Auditorium at 7 p.m. on:
•    Thursday, May 4
•    Friday, May 5
•    Saturday, May 6

Senior Rosie Shultz ('23) of Ruston will perform a voice recital for her Artist in Training requirement in LSMSA’s Recital Hall at 6:30 p.m. on:
•    Friday, May 5

The Music Department’s Spring Concert will be held in LSMSA’s Recital Hall at 2 p.m. on:
•    Saturday, May 6
•    Sunday, May 7

Seniors Alyse Huguet ('23) of Greenwell Springs and Abigail Melancon ('23) of Prairieville will share a dance concert for their Artist in Training requirement in LSMSA’s Treen Auditorium at 7 p.m. on:
•    Saturday, May 13

Treen Auditorium is located in the High School Building closest to University Parkway, and the Recital Hall is located in the Center for Performance and Technology (CPT) near the school’s Music and Arts Building. All performances are free and open to the public.

LSMSA is a tuition-free, residential, public high school for high-achieving rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a nominal room and board fee to cover housing, meals, and campus activities. The LSMSA Foundation offers assistance for families in need.
