LSMSA invites community to April 4th music department recital
The LSMSA Music Department will host its recital on Tuesday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Recital Hall (CPT) on LSMSA’s campus and is open to the public.
The recital will feature vocalists Kameron Friddle (‘24) of New Roads; Mackenzie LaCombe (‘24) of Prairieville; Jordan Murray (‘23) of Lake Charles; Rosie Shultz (‘23) of Ruston; Phillip Voorhees (‘24) of Hammond; and Emma Wale (‘24) of Laplace. Featured pianists are Pooja Garlapati (‘xx) of West Monroe; Sarah Green (‘24) of Luling; Kiera Robinson (‘25) of Prairieville; and Jack Yi (‘24) of Natchitoches.
LSMSA, a tuition-free, residential, public high school for high-achieving rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, has a nominal room and board fee to cover housing, meals, and campus activities, and the LSMSA Foundation offers assistance for families in need.
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
