LSMSA senior presents at Regional American Chemical Society conference

For the past two summers, Aroma Chanda ('23) of Hammond has been working with Dr. Jeanne Fotie's Organic Chemistry lab at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Recently, their work culminated in the college students inviting Aroma to present with them at the American Chemical Society Southwest Regional Meeting in Baton Rouge. The focus of the conference was ''Transformative Chemistry and Energy in the Gulf South."

Although Aroma found presenting alongside undergraduate students slightly intimidating, she said her lab group was incredibly helpful.
