Academically minded students in Ruston area invited to learn more
LSMSA invites high-achieving, highly motivated students in the Ruston area to learn more about the school at an informational night meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17 in Room 134 of Louisiana Tech University’s University Hall Auditorium.
Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible for admittance at the tuition-free school, and all students and families are welcome to visit with representatives from LSMSA to learn more and have questions answered. When available, parents of currently enrolled students and alumni living in the areas may also answer questions from first-hand experience. LSMSA is a public high school with a nominal room and board fee to cover housing, meals, and campus activities. The LSMSA Foundation offers assistance for families in need.
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
