Students raise money to support school during mini-phonathon
Last week, the Foundation's work service students joined student ambassadors to raise money to support the needs of the school and students.
In an effort to conserve resources, a total of 12 students made over 375 calls over two nights, raising more than $10,000 to assist the school with textbooks, lab equipment, professional development for faculty, and assistance for students with financial needs.
Students enjoyed pizza and conversations with LSMSA donors, and want to thank everyone who answered the phone and said “yes” to their appeal!

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
