Families invited to learn more about LSMSA during fall events

LSMSA is offering a preview of campus to interested high-achieving, academically motivated high school students and their families in Louisiana. Events scheduled in Natchitoches include Exploration Days, Saturday Tours, and private tours.
Exploration Days allow prospective students to sit in on classes while their parents hear from the school's administration. Parents and students tour the campus, hear from current LSMSA students, and have lunch in the dining hall. Exploration Days generally begin around 9:00 a.m. and conclude around 2:00 p.m. Fall 2022 Exploration Days will be held at LSMSA:
  • Monday, October 10
  • Friday, November 11
 
If your schedule does not allow you to attend an Exploration Day, Saturday Tours offer an opportunity to see the campus and learn more about LSMSA while visiting Natchitoches for outstanding local events. Fall 2022 Saturday Tours will be held:
  • October 15 at 11:00 a.m.
  • December 3 at 9:00 a.m. - Tour LSMSA at 9:00 am, then attend the Natchitoches Christmas Festival (free parking for the day in LSMSA's main parking lot less than a mile from downtown).
 
Scheduled primarily for Mondays or Thursdays, private/semi-private weekday tours allow families to visit our campus and meet with Enrollment Services and take about 2 hours. If requested, we can also arrange for prospective students to sit in on one or more classes while on campus. We recommend families attend Exploration Day rather than scheduling private tours, as more events are planned for those days, but we do understand that not everyone's schedule will allow that.
