Members of Outdoor Activity Club visit Kisatchie National Forest
Two instructrs hike, hunt insects with students
The Outdoor Activity Club at LSMSA promotes healthy lifestyle choices and exhibits these through planned outdoor activities. Several members of the group recently spent a Sunday in the Kisatchie National Forest hiking with Cher Anabo, instructor of dance, and hunting insects with Dr. Maggie Hodge, lecturer of biology. After dining on the trail, everyone found time to relax in the trees. Pictured are, front row, from left, Jordan Smith, a junior from Geismar; Marlies Carter, a junior from Madisonville; and Layna Auzenne, a senior from Opelousas; and second row, from left, Ben Walker, a junior from Mandeville; Reed Middendorf, a senior from Natchitoches; Rachel Judson, a junior from Lake Charles; and William Casey, a junior from Baton Rouge.
