Theater students to present "The Servant of Two Masters"

Performances set for Nov. 2-4 in the Black Box
Secrets, mistaken identity and flying food ensue in the athletic farce for all ages as the Department of Creative and Performing Arts at LSMSA presents “The Servant of Two Masters.”

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday Nov. 2-4 with a matinee set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, and will be held in the Black Box located in the Center for Performance and Technology.

Tickets are $7. Students from LSMSA and Northwestern State University get in free with proper identification.

Written in 1746, the play follows the adventures of Truffaldino who, in order to make an extra florin or two, agrees to be the servant of two masters; unbeknownst to either of them. It does not help that one is a woman who is disguised as a man to find her fiancé who happens to be the other master.
