Chemistry instructor visits local school to lead demonstration

Hynes looks to take Science Road Show to other area schools

Students at NSU Middle Lab School learned about the properties of hydrogen and oxygen and witnessed a flame test when an instructor from the Department of Science at LSMSA visited their school on Thursday, Oct. 19. Dr. Chris Hynes, senior lecturer of chemistry and student research advisor, led the demonstration. Hynes encourages any local teacher who would like to have a member of the LSMSA science faculty visit their school for a similar demonstration to call him at 318-357-2551 or email him at chynes@lsmsa.edu.
