Anabo choreographs, presents first concert of school year
Nine performers took the floor to present the annual fall dance concert sponsored by the Department of Creative and Performing Arts at LSMSA. Performers included Colby Alexander, a junior from Franklin; Brillane Bays, a sophomore from Coushatta; Gabrielle Blanchard, a senior from Houma; Jada Bezue, a junior from Hammond; Catherine Kennon, a senior from Bossier City; Edouard Ferrell, a senior from Natchitoches; Sean Lane, a senior from Hammond; Abigail LeBlanc, a junior from Fordoche; and Samantha Wright, a senior from Crowley. The performance was conceived and directed by Cher Anabo, who was inspired by the concept of the mandala.
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
