Fall dance concert set for Oct. 12 and Oct. 14

'Breathing hearts, healing mandalas'
The Department of Creative and Performing Arts at LSMSA will present its annual dance concert Thursday, Oct. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 14, in the Black Box located in the Center for Performance and Technology.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, and 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The event is open to the public.

This year’s concert was conceived and directed by Cher Anabo. Anabo was inspired by the concept of the mandala.

“We reflect on the fact that we exist,” she said. “Our physical bodies occupying the space, moving and breathing like a mandala.”
