School welcomes first admitted student of the 2017-18 school year

Congratulations to the first student of the 35th incoming class admitted to LSMSA. Siobahn Stanley, a freshman at North Desoto High School, was greeted by school administrators and staff members and presented her acceptance packet on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Those visiting the school to make the announcement included Dr. Steve Horton, executive director; Dr. Kristi Key, director of academic services; John Birch, director of enrollment services; Katja Thomakos, executive director of the LSMSA Foundation; Angela Robinson, assistant director of the LSMSA Foundation; Thorn LaCaze, senior external affairs officer; and Tony (’91) and Rachel (’88) Stanley. Also on hand to assist with the announcement were NDHS administrators Bart Weaver, principal, and Toni Brumley, guidance counselor.
