Two play with All National Honor Ensemble

Local students travel to to Texas for performance

Two students participated in the National Association for Music Education All National Honor Ensemble orchestra Nov. 10-13 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas. Devon Mathews and Jake Stultz are both juniors from Natchitoches. Mathews played the violin and Stultz the double bass. The symphony orchestra was conducted by Dr. William LaRue Jones, director of orchestral studies at the University of Iowa.
