Student Spotlight - Kay Creel

Join us as we continue to highlight the great students at our school.
Katriane Creel of Shreveport, LA is a senior this year, and we sat down with her to ask about her experience at LSMSA.

Katriane, or Kay to her friends, is in her third year at LSMSA, and after a difficult sophomore year, she was undecided if she'd return.

"I had made so many friends, though, and they motivated me to come back," she said. "I really like talking to people and helping people."

For this same reason, Kay wants to become a real estate agent. Kay doesn't want to sit at a desk all day, as she enjoys meeting new people and making new friends too much.

As a senior, Kay had some advice for the incoming class of 2023.

"Learn what works best for you, and don't procrastinate. I know it's what everyone says, but it's so true."
