Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors participated in the school-wide event. Students submitted presentations in one of a variety of disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Ecology. Students presented individually or as a group, and projects were judged on several criteria.

Awards for Biology went to the following group projects. In first place was Wes Pierce (’22), Shawn Coats (’22), and Greta Bozeman (’22) with their project “Respiration In Beans.” second place went to Morgan Pierce-Domingue (’22), Isabell Hernandez (’22), AnaLaysha Burgess-Collazo (’21), and Katherine Leblanc (’22) for their project titled “Cellular respiration in Radishes.” Coming in third place was Ross Voorheis (’22), Caleb Atkinson (’22), Emma Loup (’22), and Garrett Parker (’22) with their project “Desire to Respire.”

Ecology had a tie for first place. Jack Granger’s (’20) project “Effects of Sugarcane Farming on Bayou Teche Water Quality” tied with Anna Sloan’s (’20) project of “Composting: Does the Ration of Green to Brown Matter?”
