Students win medals from national Latin exams

Students were tested on Latin comprehension, grammar, literature, mythology and geography.
In March, twenty-eight Latin students from LSMSA participated in the National Latin Exam (NLE), which was sponsored by the American Classical League (ACL) and the National Junior Classical League (NJCL).

The NLE is administered to more than 139,000 students across the nation, as well as 20 additional countries. The exam included multiple-choice questions based around Latin comprehension, grammar, literature, mythology and geography, and is administered to gauge students’ knowledge in the language and help them appreciate their own level of accomplishment.
