LSMSA places at 2019 Louisiana Regional Science Bowl

Students participated in a Jeopardy-style compeition which featured questions in Astronomy, Math, Physics, Chemistry and more!
Students at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) recently earned second place at the 2019 Louisiana Regional Science Bowl, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Held at the University of New Orleans on March 16, team members Andrea Chen ('21), Paige Delsa ('21), Juliet Flanagan ('19), Deior Gross ('21) and Ben Walker ('19) competed against eleven other teams from across the state. Students competed in a Jeopardy style format for more than 5 hours, answering questions in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Current Events, Earth Science, Energy, Math, and Physics.
