Eleven compete in math competition

Three receive recognition
Eleven students from LSMSA competed in the 16th annual LSU High School Math Competition. Jojo Deep, a sophomore from Natchitoches, was awarded third place in the overall competition. Albert Chen, a junior from Natchitoches, and Ruby Kharod, a junior from Opelousas, were acknowledged for their meritorious achievement. Other competitors included Manjistha Lakhotia, a sophomore from Lafayette; Lauren Rains, a junior from Zachary; Grace Yuan, a senior from New Orleans; Vrat Joshi, a sophomore from Natchitoches; Trevor Sullivan, a junior from Slidell; Sydney Schroedter, a sophomore from Lafayette; Hanyu Gong, a junior from Metairie; and Chelsea Franklin, a junior from Crowley.
