Dr. Jason Anderson - Vice Chair

Dr. Jason Anderson (He, Him, His) serves as Vice Chair of the IDEA Advisory Council at LSMSA.

Teaching at LSMSA since 2011, Dr. Anderson is currently a Lecturer of Biology and Curriculum Coordinator of the EXCEL program, which is designed to recruit highly-motivated and under-served and/or under-represented students of Louisiana. His passions do not just lie in teaching in the classroom; he enjoys coaching and mentoring his students. Originally from Opelousas, LA, Dr. Anderson believes and supports diversity and inclusion in all aspects of society, including African-American equity and HIV/AIDS awareness in all communities.
