Denise Van Dine Karamales was appointed to the LSMSA Board in October 2017. She began a career in public education as a teacher of students with disabilities and continued to work at the district level in Vernon and Bossier Parish to promote inclusive programming and appropriate educational opportunities for all students. Mrs. Karamales continues her work at the LDOE in the Federal Programs Division in support of state and federal grants.
