Since 1983, LSMSA has served as Louisiana's only public residential high school, offering the state's best and brightest students a world-class, tuition-free education. LSMSA students are taught at the college level, while also learning independent-living skills that help them to be better prepared the college experience. LSMSA graduates are highly recruited by colleges and universities and students can earn up to 74 college credits while enrolled at LSMSA. LSMSA is an exciting educational opportunity for high-ability students from across the state.

Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
