LSMSA Registered Nurse (Temporary Assignment, Open Until Filled)

The School Nurse formulates and reviews nursing plans of care for all students in assigned areas and ensures that treatments and therapies specified in the plans are carried out. This person also oversees the administration of prescription and over-the-counter medications which may include oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medicines and makes regular patient rounds to observe and assess patients’ physical conditions and behaviors and records them on patients’ charts.
