New Employee Spotlight: Dr. Kira Braham

Dr. Kira Braham joins the Louisiana School community as an Instructor of English in the Humanities department after completing her Ph.D. in English at Vanderbilt University.
"I'm excited to join LSMSA because of the rigorous academic curriculum and brilliant, creative students," she said. "I've found it a very welcoming community and I look forward to getting to know everyone!"

She specializes in British literature, particularly Victorian literature, and her favorite author is Charles Dickens. Her other scholarly and teaching interests include working-class literatures, labor history, gender studies, and science fiction.
In her free time, Dr. Braham likes to cook, run, hike, and watch British detective shows, and she is currently learning to play tennis.
