Jared Dunahoe was appointed to the board in February 2020. He received his JD from Southern University Law Center in 2007 and is a member of the Southern University Law Review. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Natchitoches Bar Association, and Louisiana Association for Justice.

As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
