Who can participate in LSMSA Giving Day?
Every Eagle — students, parents, alumni, friends, faculty, and staff — is invited to participate on May 4 by giving to support LSMSA.
How are gifts made?
Give here (www.lsmsa.edu/give
)! This page is where we’ll keep track of donations that have been made, to feature challenges that may be made to multiply the impact of your gifts, and to provide real-time updates throughout the day on which class is currently leading the Alumni Challenge.
If you experience any technical difficulties on lsmsa.edu/give, please check that you are using the most updated version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. Internet Explorer 11 is the only major browser that does not support the Giving Day website. Still encountering trouble? Please reach out to us at [email protected]
for day-of support.
What will my gift support?
All Giving Day donations will go to the LSMSA Foundation to support the school's ongoing needs.
I donated between July 1, 2020, to May 3, 2021. Will my gift count towards LSMSA Giving Day?
Thank you for supporting LSMSA -- if you received our Giving Day mailer and sent your gift to us in that envelope, your gift has already been counted! Only gifts made in response to the Giving Day mail piece or on May 4 will be counted for LSMSA Giving Day.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
Donations of $10 or more can be accepted on the LSMSA website. Every gift will make a difference and will help pave the way at LSMSA. Thank you for giving what you can!
What types of gifts are accepted on LSMSA Giving Day?
Gifts made by credit or debit card through the Giving Day website and gifts made by checks in response to the Giving Day mailer will be accepted.
Will my gift be tax-deductible?
Yes! Donations to the LSMSA Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive an email confirmation that serves as a receipt for the tax-deductible amount of your gift.
What else can I do to be part of LSMSA Giving Day?
Join the fun on social media! Make a post to celebrate the class of 2021 or tell a story about how LSMSA or its supporters have helped pave the way for you. Add the hashtag #LSMSAGivingDay and set your post to public so that we can see and share it, too. To learn how you can volunteer as a social media ambassador or submit content in advance of LSMSA Giving Day, please email the LSMSA Foundation’s Rebekah Maricelli at [email protected]
